The RockSizer / StoneSizer up-thrust single toggle design has specific features that benefit the user with lower manganese wear rates and power consumption per tonne of material crushed with improved product shape whilst maintaining higher outputs than old double-toggle style designs. The ten standard models in the RockSizer / StoneSizer range cover output capacities from 5tph to over 200tph.

The RockSledger down-thrust single toggle design provides a more aggressive crushing motion and subsequently higher capacities are achieved. Six standard models in the RockSledger range provide outputs from 70tph to over 850tph and are at the core of the designs used by Parker in their ranges of static, transportable and mobile jaw crushing plants.

RockSizer primary stage jaw crushers feature the upthrust toggle action which is also common to the StoneSizer range. Developed by Parker, this gives a slight downward movement to the swing jaw that promotes a forced feed and therefore increased output while at the same time minimising any rubbing action resulting in a well shaped product and reduced and even wear on the crushing jaws.

The RockRanger has a wide discharge conveyor with good clearance under the crusher. Installation is rapid and easy to set up. The feed hopper is an externally reinforced heavy-duty steel plate hopper to stand up to the toughest of jobs.

The rapid development of urbanization has resulted in the accumulation of a large amount of waste concrete, which not only occupies land resources but also pollutes the air and the environment. The pretreated concrete with reinforcing steel is sent to the jaw crusher for initial breakage by the conveyor belt, then effectively separated by the iron remover, and sent to the impact crusher for fine crushing. The crushed material is sieved by the vibrating screen. The finished material is output by the conveyor. If the material does not meet the specifications, it will continue to return to the impact crusher and break again.

The development and utilization of waste concrete as a recycled material solves the problems of a large amount of waste concrete treatment and the resulting deterioration of the ecological environment; on the other hand, it can reduce the consumption of natural aggregates in the construction industry, thereby reducing exploitation of the natural sand and gravel, which has fundamentally solved the problem of the depletion of natural aggregates and the destruction of the ecological environment because of the lack of sandstones.

Please look at the pictures of the bearings at the top of the machine. As you can see they are on the outside of the crushing chamber. The bearings at the bottom of the movable plate are made from brass. The bearings are not the standard ball bearings as on the top of the machine, but tubes made from brass. The picture on the attached file shows the brass tubes. The lubrication of this bearing is very important and can be done by a lubrication cartridge.

The cartridge will be activated using a chemical switch. The switch will press the greasing out of the cartridge and can be set on a certain empty time from 1 to 12 months. When the greasing level in the bearing is good, the dust will be pressed out preventing the bearing from locking/breaking. The Case Laboratory Crusher (patented in 1903), Fig. 69, was especially designed to meet the demand for a low priced, strong, laboratory crusher. Figure 70 shows the Calkins Advance Ore Crusher, manufactured by The Calkins Company, Denver, Colo. One of the features of this crusher is the ease with which it can be cleaned. This is done by swinging up the front jaw of the crusher exposing the sides and face of the vibratory jaw and giving access to all parts of the machine to which material being crushed may adhere. The adjustment to coarse or fine crushing is made at the front end of the crusher. This machine is made in two sizes; the smallest has a jaw opening 2 x 3 inches, weighs 170 pounds, and is listed at $30.00 net; the larger size has a jaw opening 3 x 4 inches, weighs 280 pounds and is listed at $60.00 net.
