iCON is a family of Mineral Processing Products specifically designed to recover fine gold. iCON was designed by the professional Engineers at Falcon Concentrators and uses the same patented technologies used at the largest mines in the world.

iCON uses the same proven technology as the Falcon brand of professional mining products: it was designed by Falcons engineers and is now a product of iCON Gold Recovery Corp. Our History and Environmental Responsibility are discussed on our website.

Throughout history gold processing has been plagued with inefficiency and contamination. Millions of dollars of fine gold have been discarded in the tails or washed down the creek due to inadequate processing.

Processing large material that is known to have no value costs both money and time. With classification, time, energy and money will not be wasted processing excess material that is known to have no value.

For example, if you know that your largest gold is .5mm then there is no reason to put 10mm material through your process. Also, the large feed will affect the efficiency on any process. The large material will hinder the recovery of the finer materials.

Your feed will be screened to 2mm (or less based on your results) before processing in the concentrator. Any material larger than the screen will pass over the nugget trap. This will give the user confidence that they are collecting the BIG gold while minimizing the feed to the concentrator and maximizing its efficiency.

A gold concentrator is going to make your gold prospecting experiencing more efficient and enjoyable by speeding up the process of recovering finer particles of gold. When you know youve hit paydirt, you want to be sure that you are extracting every existing piece of gold. Thats why there are instruments such as micro sluice gold concentrators that can change the way you approach prospecting for gold.

Gold concentrators are aimed for the treasure hunter and gold prospector. At first, they may look somewhat imposing with their appearance, but these tools will change the way you approach prospecting for gold.

This tool is an item that uses centrifugal force in order to help with the recovery of gold. The goal is to make it possible to trap the highest percentage of gold possible. Now, thanks to more portable versions, anybody who is serious about hunting for gold can make full use of this approach to gold mining.

Gold concentrators are designed to focus on finding fine gold particles that would otherwise be missed. However, the particles of gold can be so fine that it resembles dust, making it difficult for it to be extracted via ways other than with gold concentrators. While it may not sound like much, this can quite easily accumulate in a short period of time making the extraction worthwhile.

There are also several other positives associated with gold concentrators. One huge positive is that no chemicals are used in the process of separating the gold. Instead, they merely use power and a little water with nothing else involved.

The other main positive is its efficiency. The amount of gold recovered compared to the power and costs involved in its operation is a huge benefit. In addition, the price to get started with gold concentrators is reasonable.

How gold concentrators work is relatively simple to follow. The process involved using gravity to then separate out the gold. As a direct result, you will be able to extract more gold than you would without a gold concentrator.

The gold concentrator primarily uses a cone tube in the heart of the machine. The material is fed into the base before being forced to use power from a motor. The G-force that is created as a result then allows the gold to be separated from the other material, thanks to the natural weight difference. The gold can then be collected with ease after the gold concentrator has finished processing.

There are several gold concentrators available and without any previous knowledge, deciding on the best one for your needs can be overwhelming. When you first begin weighing your options, you will notice there are two types: a zinc anodised and stainless steel version. We recommend purchasing the stainless steel option if you plan on prospecting for gold in or around saltwater. Over time, the salt would start to work against the zinc leading to parts having to be replaced. The zinc model is still a viable option, however, when using it around saltwater you will have to be extra cautious or limit your usage.

Aside from knowing which metal works best, you should also consider how much dirt you plan on putting through the machine over the course of an hour. This is linked to the size of the hopper as well as the power aspect, which is why you need to be aware of the engine and whether or not this can be expanded upon. You should also consider paying close attention to the number of revolutions associated with the gold concentrator.

If gold concentrators are something that you may be interested in learning more about, then feel free to contact us via our customer care department here at Kellyco. We will be happy to help answer any questions you may have in order to guide you towards the perfect concentrator for your needs.

SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW OUR SPIRAL WHEEL CONCENTRATORSAfter hand panning you will always end up with black sand still in the gold. The micro-sluices and small blue bowls work well but are very slow and you will probably still end up with black sand in your gold. But with a good spiral wheel concentrator properly set up you can process 50 to 150 lbs. of black sand concentrates an hour with very little effort and have clean gold ready to display or sell. So, if you mine for gold and do not want to sit around for backbreaking hours panning and then picking out the black sand by hand you need to consider an automatic spiral wheel gold concentrator. To successfully get clean gold from a spiral wheel two things are necessary, a well designed, high quality wheel, and the knowledge to operate it properly. We have been asked many times if black sand concentrator wheels are effective. My answer is always, "it is an excellent wheel but is limited by the skill of the operator." If you do not understand the principles of gravity separation, the importance of classification, and the proper operation of the wheel, your results will probably be disappointing. Take the time to practice and experiment. SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW OUR SPIRAL WHEEL CONCENTRATORSFINE GOLD SEPARATION TIP: The importance of classifying your material: Black sand concentrates are a combination of heavy minerals usually with magnetic iron being the main mineral. These dense minerals have a specific gravity in the 5 to 6 range. Gold has a specific gravity of 15 to 19.3 depending on its purity. The black sands will weigh 1/4 to 1/3 as much as the gold. A cubic foot of black sand will weigh about 225 lbs. Or 26.7 lbs. per gallon. These heavy black sands present the major problem in fine gold recovery for recreational gold miners.Gold, with a specific gravity of 15 to 19.3, and black sands at 5 to 6, when properly screened down to approximately the same size, will allow the gold to be easily separated using a good spiral wheel concentrator. Without proper screening (classification with a sieve), particles many times the size of the gold will climb the spirals and disturb the concentrating action of the water and gravity. As the gold climbs up the spirals this disturbance can cause small grains of black sand, along with the large pieces, to follow the gold up to the center tube and be deposited in the pan. The best rule of thumb to follow is: "The finer the gold, the finer you want to screen your concentrates." Run the material in several different batches of finer and finer material. With proper screening and wheel operation it is possible to recover microscopic (micron) gold down to almost 500 mesh with a high quality gold spiral wheel.

gold concentrator - pineer mining machinery

The Gold Centrifugal Concentrator is a kind of gravity separation equipment, industrial centrifuge widely used in gold panning industry for placer gold mining, but also for hard rock mining of natural gold, and also for recovery of gold from tailing. It is usually used in combination with the vibrating chute, gold shaker table, gold wash plant and other gold extraction equipment to increase the recovery rate.

The main parts of gold concentrator includes feeding pipe, drain pan, main shaft, spring, motor, tailing discharge mouth, belt. high-speed pin create power centrifugal force, in the process of gravity separation, light material would be discharged, gold gathers. Nowadays, the centrifugal concentrator is widely used for the recovery of gold, tungsten, lead, manganese, iron, etc. Gold centrifugal concentrator was patented in China. As a homemade gold separator, It is popular at home and aboard. Gold centrifugal concentrator is useful in the gold recovery in all ranges of particle size. It is most especially useful for recovering fine gold which gets lost during the operation of gravity concentrators. The application has shown that the recovery of gold can be very high, as much as 99% and the concentration ratio is up to 1,000 times. In the recovery of natural gold in lode ore that has a particle size of -0.074mm, the gold recovered is about 98%, for recovery of gold in a particle size of 0.004mm, it is up to 97%.
