Hi Rick, We have double Toggle Crusher with pitman bearing. Currently the temperature quite hugh (74 deg,C) and they run with MObilith SHC 220. Do YOu have simple EHL calculation just to ensure the MObilith SHC 220 is enough and support this bearing.

Thanks and very useful information. In Jaw crushers bearing lubrication We use Mobilith SHC 007 NLGI 00 VG 460 .The grease perform well as compare to other competitor greases. We had bearing failures more on outer Main bearings than pitman bearings due to contamination with metal dust.

My Question is , Here in Jaw crushers , Under greasing is a main issue and jaw bearing reduce performance and lead to serious damage. For manual greasing it is very difficult to monitor the running hr and monitor the temp. So any recommendation to overcome such issues.
