Spiral concentrators are devices to separate solid components in a slurry, based upon a combination of the solid particle density as well as the particles hydrodynamic properties (e.g. drag). Working principle of spiral separators

Stratification is the first stage of the separation process, which is basically completed after the first processing circuit of the spiral separators.
